Two minor citizens of Tajikistan, left in Russia without the care of legal representatives, were returned to their homeland with the assistance of the consular service of the republic's embassy in the Russian Federation.
As noted in the diplomatic mission's statement, the children's repatriation was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan. The procedure was carried out in accordance with the CIS cooperation agreement on the return of minors to their countries of permanent residence.
The embassy previously reported that in 2025, 52 children—citizens of the republic who found themselves in a similar situation—were returned from Russia to Tajikistan.
