In April 2026, Tajikistan hosted anti-corruption awareness-raising events aimed at raising the level of legal awareness among civil servants and drawing public attention to anti-corruption issues. These events were initiated by structural divisions of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Agency's press center reported.
The events were organized in a number of state and public institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Information Agency "Khovar", City Health Center No. 15 of Dushanbe, the Institute of Humanities named after Academician B. Iskandarov of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the Medical College of the city of Bokhtar, as well as the editorial office of the newspaper "Khatlon".
Representatives from various industries participated in the events. During the meetings, Agency staff presented reports on the role of the State Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the action plan for its implementation in the second phase, scheduled for 2026–2030.
In addition, the participants were informed about the provisions of other legal acts governing the fight against corruption.
