Every year, to improve the quality of education and fulfill individual teacher plans, the Tajik Technical University named after Academician Muhammad Osimi develops and publishes teaching materials and textbooks. In 2025, university faculty published 91 teaching aids and 7 textbooks. This was announced at a press conference held today at the university.
As noted at the press conference, the main goal of the Tajik Technical University's leadership is to enhance the professional skills of faculty and students, utilize modern educational programs, and utilize forms and methods of organizing the educational process, develop professional potential, and train future specialists with knowledge of foreign languages in the fields of engineering and technology, digital economy, energy, construction, and transportation.
Currently, the university trains specialists in 118 specialties at the bachelor's level, 56 specialties at the master's level, 27 areas at the PhD level, and 19 areas at the traditional doctoral level.
The university's leadership also continuously strengthens cooperation with international scientific and educational institutions on faculty and student exchanges, faculty development, the implementation of digital technologies, and other relevant topics. As part of the academic exchange program, 89 university students were sent abroad, and 62 faculty members were sent on academic exchanges and participated in various events abroad.
In 2025, 1,803 students graduated from the Tajik Technical University, 71 of whom received honors degrees.
