Dried fruit producers from Tajikistan are presenting their products at one of the world's largest food industry exhibitions, Gulfood, which is being held in Dubai from January 26 to 30, 2026.
The delegation included leading companies from Isfara specializing in the processing of apricots, nuts, and other fruits. They were part of a large-scale forum that brought together over 8,500 participants from nearly 200 countries, including international buyers, distributors, and industry experts.

The participation of Tajik companies was organized with the support of the International Trade Center as part of a Swiss-funded export promotion program, as well as in collaboration with the Tajikistan Export Agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The goal of the initiative is to help small and medium-sized enterprises strengthen their position in foreign markets and improve the competitiveness of their national products.

At the national stand, visitors are offered a wide selection of dried fruits to sample—from dried apricots and nuts to cherries and fruit bars. Business representatives note that such venues not only allow them to find new partners but also better understand the changing tastes and expectations of consumers across the globe.
In addition to the exhibition program, the Tajik delegation is participating in discussions and specialized seminars on global food market trends. The experience gained and new business contacts are expected to help expand exports and strengthen the international image of Tajik dried fruits.
