Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda inspected the construction of several multi-story residential, educational, and medical facilities in Khujand, the regional administration's press service reported .
During his visit, the regional governor toured a complex of multi-story buildings being constructed by Imoratsoz. According to the developer, the first three floors of the complex's first row will house shopping and service centers. A kindergarten, sports and recreational areas, children's play areas, and recreation areas for adults are planned for the adjacent area. Residents will also have parking available.
The northern part of the site includes eight blocks of 15-16-story residential buildings with shops and service centers, with a total of 660 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The southern part is planned for two blocks of residential buildings and one hotel block.






The regional governor emphasized the importance of adhering to architectural and urban planning requirements while incorporating elements of national architecture. Particular attention was paid to the construction of a kindergarten, taking into account the number of future residents in the complex, as well as to assisting construction companies in building new schools and implementing the city's sewer network project.
Rajab Akhmadzoda also inspected the construction progress of Mega-Khujand, a limited liability company, on multi-story buildings. A modern kindergarten is being built near the buildings, along with underground parking, sports fields, and playgrounds. The regional governor reiterated the need for schools and kindergartens to be built and for companies to contribute to the city's improvement.
Modern shopping centers and hotels are under construction on Syr Darya Street in Khujand. According to the regional governor, the city, as the administrative center of the Sughd Region, is becoming increasingly well-developed, and the construction of various facilities is improving living and working conditions for residents.






Work is proceeding according to plan at the extension building for Gymnasium No. 1, which is being constructed by construction companies. The new four-story building, with a basement level, is designed to accommodate over 1,400 students in two shifts.


In preparation for the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, the Sughd Region Children's Clinical Hospital is constructing an additional building on the basement and seven floors, funded by the regional executive authority. This project aims to improve the level and quality of medical care for the population.
The construction of residential, educational, and medical facilities creates new jobs and contributes to the further development and improvement of the city of Khujand.
