A Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on cooperation in the exchange of experience in public administration was signed at the World Summit of Governments, held from 3 to 5 February 2026 in Dubai.
The document was signed by the Director of the Civil Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan , Iles Idriszoda , and the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates , Maryam bint Ahmad Al Hammadi .
The memorandum is aimed at developing cooperation in public administration. Specifically, it provides for the exchange of experience in implementing concepts, strategies, and other government programs, as well as the coordination and evaluation of government agencies' activities in the public administration system and the provision of public services.
The document also covers issues of digitalization of public administration, human resource development, and the training of civil servants abroad. Particular attention is paid to coordinating the parties' efforts to improve the competitiveness of the public administration system.
In accordance with the provisions of the memorandum, within the framework of the Overseas Personnel Training Program implemented by the United Arab Emirates, civil servants will be sent for training outside the country.
