As part of the B5+1 Forum (Central Asia – United States of America), which took place on February 4-5 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, held meetings and talks with delegation leaders and representatives of the investment community. This was reported by the Committee's press service.
During a meeting with Sergio Gore, the United States Special Representative for Central and South Asia, issues of expanding further cooperation in the area of entrepreneurship development, strengthening economic interaction, and attracting investment were discussed.
The Committee Chairman also met with Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the Forum. The two sides exchanged views on prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in industry and investment and discussed upcoming joint events.
In addition, as part of the Forum, Sulton Rahimzoda held meetings with the Director of the Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ravshanbe Sabirov, as well as with a number of entrepreneurs and investors from the United States of America.
