On February 10, during a working visit to the Khuroson district, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said launched an artesian well in the Sadriddin Aini rural jamoat, the regional chairman's press service reported .
It is noted that the initiative was implemented within the framework of the policy of the Leader of the Nation and in cooperation with local executive bodies of state power and development partners.
With the commissioning of an artesian well constructed using modern technology, more than 4,000 rural residents are now provided with clean drinking water. To ensure the well's uninterrupted operation and water supply, 30 solar panels with a capacity of 16 kilowatt-hours have been installed, ensuring energy efficiency and the sustainable use of natural resources.

The artesian well was built and commissioned within three months with the assistance of local authorities and development partners.
During the visit, the regional governor spoke with local residents and described the implementation of this initiative as a shining example of constructive policy and support for rural communities from the country's top leadership. He stated that the initiative not only improves access to drinking water but also plays a significant role in the development and improvement of the area, as well as in improving the residents' quality of life.

On the same day, Davlatali Said visited a greenhouse in the rural jamoat of Khiloli in the Khuroson district.
A greenhouse growing high-quality vegetables, including cucumbers and tomatoes, was built by entrepreneur Makhmadyusuf Olimov on an 800-square-meter plot. Its construction has created jobs for eight local residents, which plays a significant role in the development of small businesses and improving the social standard of living of the population.

To supply the consumer market with domestic produce, vegetable crops were planted in permanent and seasonal greenhouses across a total area of 2,495.7 hectares in Khatlon Region in 2025. As a result, 75,200 tons of vegetables were produced, including 24,500 tons of tomatoes, 21,000 tons of cucumbers, and 29,500 tons of other vegetables. This increases the availability of fresh, high-quality domestic produce for the population and plays a significant role in ensuring food security.

The regional chairman praised the quality of vegetable cultivation and the efficiency of greenhouses, emphasizing that supporting entrepreneurs and developing modern greenhouses are key to advancing agriculture and improving living standards.
