A distributor of the psychotropic drug Pregabalin was detained in Dushanbe, and more than 300 capsules were seized.

Officers from the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have detained another distributor of Pregabalin, also known as Lyrica, in the capital. This was reported by the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.

According to the agency, 23-year-old Dushanbe resident Muhammad Rajabov was detained for selling the drug to citizens in violation of legal requirements.

During a personal search, more than 300 capsules of Pregabalin were found and confiscated from him.

An administrative protocol was filed against Rajabov for this incident under Article 128 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. The court imposed an administrative fine on him.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs called on citizens to assist police and contact the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs at (+992) 018020202 in order to prevent the spread of this substance.
