Police officers in the capital's police department have solved three cases of theft, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
A representative of the Tajik branch of the trade and construction company "Urbakon" filed a report with the Sino District Department of Internal Affairs No. 2. According to the company, on February 1, 2026, unknown individuals secretly entered the branch's building materials warehouse, stole construction equipment, and fled the scene, causing damages amounting to $8,100 and 8,000 somoni.
During the course of operational investigative activities, police officers established that the crime was committed by two men, aged 38 and 32, residents of the Rudaki district.
It was also established that on February 11, 2026, the suspects again secretly entered a building materials warehouse at the branch of the trade and construction company "Urbakon" in the Republic of Tajikistan, stole construction equipment, and fled the scene. The damages amounted to $5,944.47.
Additionally, a 35-year-old resident of Dushanbe filed a complaint with the Ismoili Somoni District Department of Internal Affairs. She reported that on February 11, 2026, at approximately 2:00 AM, a man named "Buzurgmehr" and an acquaintance stole 2,000 somoni and an iPhone 17 Promax from her pocket at the Bukhoro Palace entertainment center and then fled the scene. The damage amounted to 20,500 somoni.
During the course of operational investigative activities, police officers established that the crime was committed by a 19-year-old resident of Dushanbe.
An investigation is underway into all the facts mentioned.
