Tajikistan's Minister of Industry and New Technologies, Sherali Kabir, is leading the country's delegation to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, which is taking place from February 16 to 20 in New Delhi, India. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The forum is being chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by French President Emmanuel Macron, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and other high-level government representatives. The summit brought together over 100 countries, international organizations, and leading technology companies.



Led by Sherali Kabir, the Tajik delegation presented national priorities in industry and the industrial application of artificial intelligence technologies. The focus was on the implementation of AI solutions to modernize production processes, improve the efficiency of industrial enterprises, develop the digital economy, and foster new high-tech industries.
During plenary and thematic sessions, projects in the areas of smart manufacturing systems, industrial automation, digital infrastructure management, and training for the industry of the future were discussed.
On the sidelines of the summit, Minister Sherali Kabir held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of Indian government agencies, international organizations, and the heads of leading companies in the field of industrial artificial intelligence. During the talks, prospects for joint projects, attracting investment, and introducing innovative solutions to Tajikistan's industrial sector were discussed.


A separate meeting was held between Sherali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ashwini Vaishnav, Minister of Railways, Electronics and Information Technology, Information and Broadcasting of the Republic of India, and Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI. During the meeting, the parties discussed the potential of using the company's advanced developments for the digital transformation of Tajik industry, as well as the launch of joint pilot projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
