On February 26, 2026, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Farrukh Yusufzoda, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Tomir Fathi Abdussalam Hammod (residence in Tashkent), the press service of the Committee reported.



During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, and investment spheres, including expanding economic ties, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs and investors, and developing and implementing joint investment projects in priority sectors.
Given the significant economic and investment potential of both countries, the parties confirmed their readiness to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, attract direct investment, expand trade ties, and exchange experiences in priority development areas.
The importance of developing cooperation within the framework of existing agreements and preparing new cooperation documents aimed at deepening economic partnership was also emphasized.
