On February 26, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting to discuss the "Tajikistan – My Beloved Homeland" National Competition. The meeting was chaired by Dilrabo Mansuri, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of the National Competition Committee. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the issue of holding the first round of the competition was discussed. The jury members were instructed to make every effort to select the best participants.
According to the regulations, the first round of the competition will take place in mid-April in the republic's city centers and districts. The best participants will receive vouchers for the second round.
The second round will take place in June in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Sughd and Khatlon regions, the city of Dushanbe and districts of republican subordination.
Dilrabo Mansuri noted that the competition is being held to identify emerging talent in the arts, further develop their professional skills and mastery, enhance their professionalism, strengthen high-quality performing arts, and create new musical works. It also seeks out the best melodies and songs that celebrate the achievements of the period of state independence, the contribution of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the construction of the new Tajik statehood, and the popularization of national traditions and the heritage of their ancestors.
Those responsible have been instructed to make maximum use of all resources and opportunities to achieve the competition's main goals—to identify new talent and a younger generation of performers who celebrate the achievements of the independent state.
