In February of this year, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, meetings were held in cities and districts of the Kulyab region with members of conscription commissions, military commissariat staff, representatives of the military departments of towns and villages' jamoats, and officials from the executive authorities of the Dangara, Farkhor, and Shamsiddin Shokhin districts. This was reported by the Agency's press center.






The events were organized to improve legal literacy among the population and raise awareness of anti-corruption issues. During the meetings, provisions of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Military Service Duties and Military Service," "On Combating Corruption," and the State Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2030 were explained.
Participants were urged to focus their efforts on protecting national interests, ensuring human and civil rights and freedoms, strengthening collective efforts to combat corruption in the military, and contributing to the development of the state.
