On Friday, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping chaired a meeting of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee to discuss the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for China's National Economic and Social Development (2026-2030) and the draft government work report. The documents will be submitted by the State Council to the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC). The NPC session opens in Beijing next Thursday. (Photo: VCG)
