On March 2, during a working visit, Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda and Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said inaugurated a road within the village of Pakhtakor in the Dashtigulo jamoat of Mir Said Ali Hamadoni district. This was reported by the press service of the Khatlon Region Chairman.
The road was reconstructed as part of the event plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and is aimed at improving the condition of local roads. Paving the section is seen as a constructive initiative that contributes to the development of rural infrastructure.

The road is 3,530 meters long. It connects the village of Pakhtakor with the international Guliston-Farkhor highway. Construction began in early June 2025 by local entrepreneurs and is now fully completed. The total cost of the project was 1.5 million somoni.
The road is 5 meters wide. The road surface is paved with an 8-centimeter-thick layer of asphalt, in accordance with modern road construction requirements. Since its commissioning, traffic has become more convenient and safer, improving residents' mobility.

During the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister praised the initiative of domestic entrepreneurs, emphasizing that such improvement and construction work in the lead-up to the national holiday demonstrates the high sense of patriotism of the residents.
In the Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni district, construction and reconstruction of other local roads continues as part of the holiday celebrations. The implementation of these projects is expected to provide a significant boost to the district's socioeconomic development.
