On February 28, another round of landscaping and tree planting events took place in the Ayni district, according to the press service of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In the village of Zarafshon-2, with the participation of the district chairman Ravshan Rahimzoda and active residents, 500 thuja and juniper seedlings were planted, provided by the district environmental protection department.






On the same day, 2,000 elm saplings were planted in the Dashti Pohuta area of the Rarz jamoat. In addition, personnel from the district Department of Internal Affairs planted 400 fruit trees—apple and apricot.
The activities are being implemented within the framework of the State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040 and are aimed at improving the ecological environment and sustainable development of the region.
