Representatives of Tajikistan's tourism industry are participating in the International Tourism Fair "ITB Berlin 2026," held annually in Berlin, where they showcase the country's tourism opportunities and potential on the international stage. This was reported by the Tourism Development Department of the Dushanbe City Executive Authority.
The ITB Berlin exhibition, which runs from March 3 to 5 this year, is considered one of the world's largest and most prestigious tourism platforms, bringing together leading tourism companies, investors, government officials, and industry experts from around the world.
It is noted that the participation of representatives of the Tajik tourism sector in this event is considered an important step in strengthening the country's position in the international tourism market.
The exhibition showcases the country's tourism potential, including unique natural resources, historical and cultural sites, modern service infrastructure, and new tourist routes.

Particular attention is paid to Dushanbe's tourism potential, including museums, cultural complexes, recreation parks, and modern facilities.
Holidays and national traditions are also presented, including the International Navruz Holiday, folk crafts, hospitality culture and national dishes as an important part of the country's tourism brand.
The exhibition will feature B2B meetings between representatives of Tajikistan's tourism industry and companies, international operators, and investors. These meetings are expected to facilitate direct cooperation, attract investment, create joint tourism routes, and increase tourist flows.
It is emphasized that participation in ITB Berlin also helps gain international experience in organizing exhibitions and using modern tourism marketing technologies. This experience will be used to improve the Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition.
It is noted that, with the ongoing support of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, tourism development has been identified as a priority area of the country's economic policy, and active participation in international exhibitions is an important part of implementing this strategy.
It is also emphasized that Tajikistan's participation in ITB Berlin creates favorable conditions for strengthening the country's international authority, expanding economic cooperation, and sustainable development of the tourism industry.
