The Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan held a meeting to discuss the implementation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's Resolution "On Approving the Methodology for Conducting Activity Analysis (Corruption Risks)," the ministry's press service reported.
According to the Ministry, the meeting addressed issues of preventing corruption risks and implementing a methodology for analyzing activities.
It is noted that the ministry has established a working group to prevent corruption risks. Corruption risk analysis is conducted in three stages: an analysis of preconditions, an analysis of existing corruption risks, and an assessment with the development of recommendations for eliminating unfavorable factors.
The first stage—the analysis of preliminary conditions—is currently ongoing and is scheduled to be completed within one month.
It is emphasized that the main purpose of the analysis is to identify factors and conditions that may contribute to the emergence of corruption risks.
Improving governance and internal control mechanisms, increasing the transparency and efficiency of government agencies, and developing and implementing effective measures should help prevent corruption.
During the meeting, a representative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan presented recommendations for conducting a corruption risk analysis, as well as developing a working group action plan and preparing a corruption risk assessment report.
