On March 11, 2026, the 20th meeting of the Coordinating Committee on Trade Facilitation was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali.
The meeting was attended by committee members, including representatives of the private sector and development partners, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, issues related to the presentation of the State Program for Export Development of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030, the activities of the “Trade Facilitation in Central Asia” project implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation, the launch of the “Strengthening the Potential of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor” project, and the work plan of this committee for 2026 were discussed.


In his speech, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali noted that, based on the instructions and orders of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the country is consistently working to simplify trade procedures.
He also emphasized that ministries and agencies, together with the private sector and development partners, are constantly taking practical measures within the framework of the committee's activities.
The meeting continued with an open dialogue between representatives of government agencies and the private sector.
It was noted that the issues discussed directly contribute to the implementation of strategic documents and ensure sustainable economic development of the country.
