The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan has begun construction of the Durakhshandagon Lyceum. The educational institution will be built on the grounds of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy in Dushanbe and will be under the Ministry's jurisdiction.
The foundation stone for the future educational institution was laid by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel General Ramazon Rahimzoda.
It is noted that since the first days of state independence, the country's top leadership has been taking the necessary measures to ensure that citizens, especially the younger generation, become educated, enlightened, and possess a profession or trade. During this period, dozens of universities, institutes, educational institutions, sports complexes, and other facilities have been built and commissioned, playing a vital role in the development of education and knowledge acquisition.
Today, in light of the creative and constructive policies of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel General Ramazon Rahimzoda, laid the foundation stone for the building of the Durakhshandagon Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ramazon Rahimzoda noted that during the Soviet period, the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not have a single educational institution that met the requirements of the time, where new personnel could be trained or where employees could improve their qualifications.
According to him, today, with the support and care of the head of state, the Leader of the Nation, the esteemed Emomali Rahmon, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has a major facility—an Academy, unique in the Central Asian states, as well as a Police College and a Technical Fire College.
It is noted that these institutions have given a significant impetus to the training of highly qualified personnel and the development of the activities of internal affairs agencies.

In this regard, a decision was made to build the Durakhshandagon Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to educate adolescents and young people in the spirit of self-awareness and self-knowledge, as well as to train future personnel who intend to continue their education in educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or other universities and institutes in the country and abroad.
It is reported that the Durakhshandagon Lyceum will consist of two buildings and will be built on the grounds of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the design, the lyceum's building will be three stories tall and will include 28 classrooms, an assembly hall, a gym, a library, a cafeteria, and other necessary infrastructure. The school is designed to accommodate 640 students per shift.
Additionally, the lyceum's dormitory building will consist of four floors. Each floor will contain 11 rooms, equipped with all necessary furniture and appliances.
