Due to inadequate supervision and the lack of accountability of some parents, traffic accidents, missing children, and other crimes involving minors are reported during holidays, especially during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha. This was reported by the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In this regard, the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in order to ensure the safety of children and prevent incidents involving minors, asks parents not to leave their children unattended for extended periods during Ramadan. It emphasizes the need to discourage aimless wandering, late-night walks, and vagrancy, and to encourage children to engage in useful activities.
It is also recalled that in the event of minors committing offenses for improperly fulfilling their responsibilities in raising children, appropriate measures will be taken against parents or persons replacing them in accordance with current legislation.
