On March 22, a group of journalists from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Tajikistan to learn about the achievements of the independence period, the unique history and culture of the Tajik people, the country's tourism opportunities, and to participate in the international Navruz celebrations.
The Kyrgyz journalists' trip to Tajikistan will last from March 22 to 27. During the visit, they will become familiar with the activities of Tajik television and radio broadcasters, news agencies, and print media. Representatives of the Kyrgyz media will also visit historical and cultural sites in the cities of Dushanbe, Gissar, Nurek, and the Varzob district.
The main goal of the trip is to strengthen information cooperation and expand friendly ties between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
During the visit, Kyrgyz journalists participated in the international festival "Navruz – Cultural and World Heritage," where they learned about the ancient traditions and rituals of Navruz, national customs, and tourism opportunities in Tajikistan.
Guests visited exhibitions of folk crafts, national cuisine, and cultural programs, and also praised the festive atmosphere of Navruz and the hospitality of the Tajik people.
Journalists from Kyrgyzstan are making a return visit to Tajikistan, during which they are participating in celebrations of the international holiday of Navruz in other cities and regions of the country.
It is noted that a similar group of journalists from Tajikistan previously visited Kyrgyzstan in July 2025.
