On April 3, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali inspected the construction and preparations for the National Theater, a major cultural facility. This was reported by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
During the visit, the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as responsible specialists, reported to Head of State Emomali Rahmon that the main construction work had been completed. Finishing work inside the building, as well as the installation and adjustment of equipment in the theater halls, are currently ongoing.

It was noted that the best construction and finishing materials, as well as modern technology and equipment, were used in the construction and equipping of the National Theater building, which is considered one of the key facilities being erected in honor of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence.
During the familiarization, President Emomali Rahmon gave the managers, responsible specialists, and Tajik craftsmen specific instructions and recommendations for the high-quality and timely completion of the work.

As has been emphasized, the National Theater is one of the most important components of the architectural ensemble of administrative and cultural buildings in the center of Dushanbe—along with the Palace of the Nation, the National Museum, the National Library, the Coat of Arms and State Flag Parks, and Dusti Square with its monument to Shah Ismaili Somoni.

Once fully completed, the facility will give the capital even greater beauty and a modern look.
In addition, the National Theatre will become a venue for key socio-political, cultural, and educational events, and will also honorably represent the rich history and culture of the Tajik people.
