The Tajikistan Football League has acquired an additional VAR system and equipment for virtual offside line determination, according to the Tajikistan Football Federation.
It is noted that the decision was made in accordance with the instructions and directions of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Rustam Emomali, and is aimed at improving the quality of refereeing and ensuring maximum objectivity in the decisions made by referees.
The equipment was purchased from the Chinese company Rigour Tech, certified by the International Federation of Football Associations. Equipment was also purchased for a virtual offside line detection system, which will significantly improve the accuracy of controversial situations.
The presentation was attended by Alisher Urunov and Sayvali Doniyorzoda, Vice Presidents of the Tajikistan Football Federation; Subkhon Shodiev, Director of the Tajikistan Football League; Rustam Abdulloev, Head of the Refereeing Department of the Tajikistan Football Federation; and referees who will officiate matches in the Tajikistan Premier and First Leagues in the 2026 season. A demonstration of the new system's capabilities was also held during the event.






It is reported that the new technology will be used in matches of the third round of the 2026 Tajikistan Championship among top league teams.
It is noted that two mobile VAR systems will be used at Tajikistan championship matches.
