The spring conscription in Tajikistan has been 80% completed in the first 10 days.

In Tajikistan, the conscription plan was 80.1 percent fulfilled in the first 10 days of the spring conscription campaign, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the agency, the established targets have already been fully met in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and the city of Dushanbe.

In the Khatlon region, the plan was fulfilled at 96.2 percent, in the Sughd region at 57.5 percent, and in the cities and districts of republican subordination at 68.3 percent.

The spring conscription into the Armed Forces began on April 1 and will last until May 31.

Citizens aged 18 to 27, i.e. born between 1999 and 2008, are subject to conscription.
