On April 14, Mirzonabot Alisher Khudoberdi, Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, visited the city of Khorog to inspect construction work at various sites, according to the GBAO administration press service.
During the trip, he and Khorog Mayor Nazarzoda Rizo Shodi visited the Tem microdistrict, where industrial facilities are currently being built at the initiative of entrepreneurs. It is noted that in recent years, thanks to the special attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head of State Emomali Rahmon, Khorog has become a center of improvement and creativity, with construction work actively underway in all microdistricts.
As part of the 2022–2026 Years of Industrial Development declared in the country, as well as events marking the 35th anniversary of State Independence, a number of industrial enterprises have already been built and commissioned in the region's administrative center, the city of Khorog, with government support and at the initiative of domestic entrepreneurs.

In the Tem microdistrict, which is gradually becoming an industrial zone, construction continues on soft drink production facilities, furniture and upholstered furniture factories, fruit and vegetable packaging factories, bread and bakery production facilities, two solid waste recycling facilities, a semi-precious stone processing facility, and a metalworking facility. All these facilities are planned to be commissioned in time for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence.
The regional chairman expressed gratitude to the entrepreneurs for their contribution to industrial development and gave specific instructions to those responsible for the improvement and further development of these facilities. He emphasized that the launch of these enterprises will provide permanent jobs for Khorog residents and improve their standard of living.

Also, as part of the development of the education sector in the Tem microdistrict, construction of a 60-seat kindergarten is ongoing at the expense of the regional executive authority.
After touring the facility, the regional chairman visited the construction site of the passenger terminal in Khorog, located at the 20th Anniversary of Independence Market. Work is reportedly proceeding according to plan, and the facility will be completed on schedule.
