Tajik schoolchildren won 15 medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Ashgabat.

Schoolchildren from Tajikistan achieved high results at the 3rd International Mathematical Olympiad held in Turkmenistan, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.

The competition took place from April 8 to 13, 2026, in Ashgabat and brought together participants from more than 15 countries. The Olympiad is considered a high-level competition.

A total of 28 schoolchildren from Tajikistan took part in the tournament. They won 15 medals.

The national team has won 3 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals.
