Iran has withdrawn from the second round of talks with the United States due to Washington's excessive demands, the Iranian state news agency IRNA reported.
"Iran has refused to participate in the second round of talks with the United States," the agency wrote on the social network X.
According to the agency, the reasons for the refusal were the unrealistic expectations of the American side, frequent changes in the negotiating position, internal contradictions, and the ongoing naval blockade of Iran.
There have been no official comments from the Iranian leadership at this time.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that an American delegation plans to arrive in Islamabad on Monday for talks.
