Tajikistan's spring conscription plan has been fulfilled by 89.1%.

The Tajik Ministry of Defense reported that during the first 20 days of the spring conscription campaign, the military recruitment plan was fulfilled by 89.1%.

According to the agency, by April 22, the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the city of Dushanbe, and the Khatlon Region had fully completed their assigned tasks.

At the same time, in the Sughd region, the plan was fulfilled at 78.5%, and in cities and districts of republican subordination – 76.7%.

The spring conscription campaign in the country began on April 1 and will last until May 31. In accordance with the presidential decree, young people aged 18 to 27, meaning citizens born between 1999 and 2008, are being called up for military service.
