Seven people, including two children, were injured in a drone attack on the city of Dnipro on the night of April 23, according to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to him, the strikes hit various areas of the city. One of the drones hit a multi-story residential building, where a fire broke out in several apartments. The fire, according to available information, engulfed premises on the fourth and fifth floors. A store and a car also caught fire.
Among the injured were girls aged 9 and 14, who were taken to the hospital. Three adults were also hospitalized. Doctors are assessing the condition of all injured as moderate. It was previously reported that among those hospitalized were women aged 62 and 68. Another injured person, a 35-year-old man, did not require hospitalization.
As Ganzha noted, Dnipro and the surrounding region had been attacked in previous days as well. Four people were injured in strikes on April 21. On the morning of April 22, two apartment buildings, a private residence, and a car were damaged in the city.
A more widespread attack occurred on the night of April 16, when drones and ballistic missiles struck the Dnipro River. According to regional authorities, four people were killed and 34 others were injured. Residential buildings, garages, cars, and an educational institution were damaged in the city.
