The leadership of the Football Federation of Tajikistan has offered encouragement to the country's U17 national team ahead of the 2026 Asian Cup, the FFT reports.
The team is reported to be heading to Dubai for the final stage of its training camp before the start of the tournament.



Before their flight to the United Arab Emirates, Khurshed Mirzo, First Vice President of the Tajikistan Football Federation, and Furkat Akhmedzhanov, Secretary General of the organization, addressed the players with parting words. In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of the upcoming competition and expressed confidence in the team's potential.
During the meeting, which took place in a warm and motivating atmosphere, the Federation's leadership wished the national team success at the 2026 Asian Cup. The tournament will be held from May 5 to 22 in Saudi Arabia. They also wished the team to represent the country with dignity on the international stage and secure a spot at the 2026 World Junior Championship.
The Tajikistan U-17 team will compete in Group A at the Asian Cup. Their opponents will be Thailand, Myanmar, and Saudi Arabia. The matches will be held on May 5, 9, and 12, respectively.
