A small solar power plant with a capacity of 1,300 kW and a 600 kWh energy storage system has been commissioned in the Kizilrabot jamoat of the Murghab highland district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The solar power plant was built using modern solar technologies and is designed to provide the population with clean and sustainable electricity. The energy storage system allows the plant to operate regardless of climate conditions and ensure a stable power supply.
The project was implemented as part of the "Elektrifikatsiyai dekhot" (Rural Electrification) program. The ministry reported that solar power plants under this program have already been commissioned in 15 settlements in the Murghab district.
