Immoral videos circulating on social media have an extremely negative impact on the morality, thinking, and worldview of citizens, especially minors, according to the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The agency noted that, despite ongoing outreach efforts and the adoption of legal measures against those distributing such videos, an analysis of the situation indicates that this negative factor continues to grow.
Specifically, during a social media search, officers from the I. Somoni District Department of Internal Affairs detained Sudoba Vohidova, a 26-year-old resident of Dushanbe. It was established that she had created a personal Instagram account and regularly posted immoral videos containing obscene language, which provoked a negative reaction from users.
Based on this incident, an administrative report was filed against S. Vohidova under Article 460 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan. Based on the court's decision, she was sentenced to an administrative fine equal to 10 times the minimum monthly wage, or 780 somoni.
In this regard, citizens are also encouraged to assist the police in preventing such illegal acts.
