By the end of 2025, the gross regional product growth rate of Tajikistan's capital was 8.3 percent, and the city budget was exceeded by 22.2 percent. This was announced at an extended meeting of the Government of the Republic chaired by President Emomali Rahmon.
Over the past year, 46,000 new jobs were created in Dushanbe. Sixty-two new industrial enterprises were also commissioned in the capital, expanding production capacity and ensuring growth in industrial output.
According to city authorities, the volume of investment in fixed capital in 2025 increased by 31 percent compared to 2024.
