Tajikistan's 2025 customs payment plan has been exceeded, announced Colonel-General Khurshed Karimzoda, head of the country's Customs Service, during a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the customs authorities.
According to him, it was planned to collect customs duties in the amount of 10.4 billion somoni in 2025, including: revenue from value-added tax – 7.9 billion somoni, customs duties – 1.2 billion somoni, export duties – 160 million somoni, excise tax – 869 million somoni, non-tax revenues – 170 million somoni.
In fact, 12.7 billion somoni were transferred to the state budget, representing 122.3 percent of the planned amount. Thus, in 2025, an additional 2.3 billion somoni was received above the planned amount. This figure exceeds the total customs duties collected in 2024 by 2.9 billion somoni.
In addition, thanks to the practical implementation of additional established standards, an additional 1.5 billion somoni of additional funds were added to the budget.
