Six minors were detained in Dushanbe with knives during an act of hooliganism.

As a result of operational and preventive measures taken by the officers of the juvenile affairs unit of the OMVD-1 for the Shokhmansur district, hooliganism among minors was prevented.

Following a tip-off on the night of January 19 of this year, a group of minors armed with stabbing and cutting objects gathered on S. Ayni Street with the intention of engaging in a conflict. Police detained six minors at the scene. During a body search, two knives of different brands were found and confiscated from the detainees, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.

During the course of explanatory and preventive work in relation to parents of minors, in accordance with the requirements of Article 90 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan, administrative protocols were drawn up.

In this regard, internal affairs agencies appeal to all citizens, especially parents, to strengthen their monitoring of their children's behavior and not to leave them without proper supervision.
