As part of the Action Plan dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, in 2025, in the city of Gissar, at the initiative of the city's executive authority, entrepreneurs and activists, almost 70 kilometers of roads were paved, and tens of kilometers of other roads were concreted.
According to the Executive Authority of the city of Gissar, residents of the city will intensify the process of improvement and construction work within the framework of 2026, declared the "Year of Expanding Improvement and Creation, Strengthening National Identity and Self-Awareness."
As the improvement work expands, the initiators of the repair work in the villages of Changob, Iskich, and Nilu of the Khonakohi Kukhi rural jamoat were recognized for their contribution to paving the road. The first phase of the work has been completed, and a decision has been made to continue the second phase.
At a meeting dedicated to the achievements of road builders, it was noted that roads are a link between generations and centuries. Road construction was interpreted as a good deed that unites people.
It was also emphasized that the residents of Gissar are striving to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence at a high level and are expanding their landscaping and construction efforts. It was noted that these good deeds make an important contribution to the development and prosperity of this beautiful corner of the republic, as landscaping and construction are the duty of every patriotic person.
