Schoolchildren from Tajikistan actively participated in the 22nd International Zhautikov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science (IzhO-2026), achieving significant results, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
Four teams, comprising a total of 28 students, represented the country at the Olympiad. A total of 731 participants from 16 countries took part in the competition. Following the international competition, Tajik students won seven medals: one gold medal in physics, one silver medal, and five bronze medals in mathematics.



It is noted that for the first time in the last seven years, a student from Tajikistan took first place in this prestigious Olympiad, receiving a gold medal.
The results of the participants highlight the high level of preparation of Tajik schoolchildren and their ability to successfully compete in the international arena in the field of exact sciences.
