A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Institute of Economics and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce in Khujand and the Guilin University of Technology in China, the Institute of Economics and Trade announced.
The signing of the document marked an important step in developing bilateral academic and scientific ties between educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China. The memorandum aims to establish a sustainable partnership based on the principles of mutual benefit, exchange of experience, and the implementation of advanced educational and scientific practices.
In accordance with the provisions of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in a number of key areas. Specifically, the implementation of academic exchange programs for students and faculty is envisaged, which will allow educational participants to expand their professional knowledge, improve their proficiency in modern technologies, and strengthen intercultural ties.
Particular attention within the framework of cooperation is given to the development and implementation of joint research and academic projects aimed at solving current socio-economic and technological problems.
In addition, there are plans to jointly organize scientific conferences, symposia, and seminars at the international level, as well as exchange pedagogical experience and develop modern teaching and methodological materials that meet the requirements of the global educational space.
It is reported that the Institute of Economics and Trade of the Tajik State University of Commerce intends to send several students this year to study and participate in an academic exchange program at the Guilin University of Technology.
