Sughd Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda met with the CEO of the Tajikistan-China Mining and Industrial Company Limited Liability Company to discuss the company's development prospects, improving production performance, and fulfilling its obligations this year, according to the regional administration's press service.
At the meeting, the regional chairman noted that the country's industrial sector has become one of the most important areas of economic development. The volume and range of industrial products are increasing year after year. Specifically, in 2025, industrial production in Sughd Region reached 39 billion 146.4 million somoni, with the industry's growth rate reaching 123.5 percent.
Rajab Akhmadzoda emphasized that, along with other major industrial enterprises, the Mining and Industrial Company of Tajikistan and China LLC is making a significant contribution to the development of the region's industrial sector. The company has been operating for 11 years, and its output has grown from 852.5 million somoni in 2015 to 3 billion 378.4 million somoni in 2025. According to statistics, the company fulfilled its production obligations for 2025 by 106 percent.



During the meeting, it was noted that the activities of such joint ventures, based on friendly and good-neighborly relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China, play an important role in the development of the industrial sector, the creation of new jobs, and the implementation of creative goals.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed the fact that in 2026, the Tajik people will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan's state independence. In honor of this event, large-scale improvement and construction work is underway in the Sughd region, one of the main goals of which is to increase industrial production.
In this regard, the Mining and Industrial Company of Tajikistan and China LLC has committed to increasing its industrial output to more than 4.2 billion somoni by 2026. The company's management informed the regional governor of its future plans and innovative solutions, expressing confidence that, using the opportunities provided, they will effectively fulfill their commitments.
