With a score of 8,136 points, Sadriddin Aini Tajik State Pedagogical University ranked 8th globally in the HE Higher Education Ranking of the Higher Education Quality Assurance and Evaluation Council (HEQAC) and first in the Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported by the university's press center.
The HE Higher Education Ranking, an organisation run by the Higher Education Quality Assurance and Assessment Council (HEQAC), has published its 2025 Higher Education Institution Rankings following an analysis of 422 higher education institutions from 55 countries.
The ranking also included the Tajik State University named after Bobojon Gafurov, which ranked 184th, and the Khatlon State Medical University, which ranked 329th, representing the Republic of Tajikistan.
It is noted that for the first time in the history of higher education institutions in Tajikistan, one of the universities has achieved such a high result and entered the top ten in the international ranking.
Previously, the London School of Digital Business awarded the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini the "Best Innovative and Progressive University 2023" (LREA 2023) award for its significant contribution to the development of science and education, dedication, hard work, perseverance, and recognition of achievements.
The university is systematically preparing and preparing documentation for participation in two prestigious global rankings: QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) and The Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Currently, over 5,000 scientific video lectures in several foreign and national languages, covering over 89 educational specialties, are available to a wide audience. This experience has been highly praised in a number of countries, including Uzbekistan, Belarus, India, the People's Republic of China, and the United Kingdom.
Furthermore, in 2024, 89 educational specialties at the S. Aini Tajik State Pedagogical University received international institutional accreditation for a five-year period for the first time. The accreditation was conducted by the China Association for Higher Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization jointly with the China Center for International Scientific Exchange under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
As a result of its effective scientific and educational activities in 2023–2025, the university took first place in the ranking of higher professional educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan, prepared by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The results were officially published on the website of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China as a list of recommended higher education institutions for Chinese citizens.
