The family of Ismatullo Kurbonov, a 28-year-old border officer killed during an armed clash on the Tajik-Afghan border, has been provided with a house in the city of Bokhtar, the Khatlon region press service reported .
The keys to a new home, along with financial assistance, were presented to the deceased officer's wife by Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said. The assistance was provided on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.






It was previously reported that the family of another border guard officer, Zirekhbon Navruzbekov, who died in the same armed clash, was provided with a two-room apartment in the city of Khorog.



Both border guard officers were killed on December 24, 2025, as a result of an armed clash with Afghan militants on the Tajik-Afghan border.
