On December 23, 2025, the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with the Committee on Religion, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations and Rituals under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, organized and conducted an online seminar for employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to the press center of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight against Corruption of Tajikistan.
The event was held as part of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan." The seminar aimed to examine the process of regulating traditions and rituals in the Republic of Tajikistan.
During an online seminar, officials from the Agency and the Committee on Religion, Regulation of Traditions, Celebrations, and Ceremonies under the Government of Tajikistan explained the procedure and essence of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Regulation of Celebrations and Ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan," methods for implementing the law's provisions, liability for non-compliance, as well as best practices and the positive consequences of the law's adoption for citizens.
The event was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. The goal of the seminar was to expand bilateral cooperation and exchange best practices in combating corruption and other crimes.
