The Tajik Statistics Agency has published comparative data on the volume of industrial production in the country for the period January–October 2024–2025.
According to the Statistical Agency, industrial output in Tajikistan reached 53.4 billion somoni in 2025. As a percentage, industrial output, including private entrepreneurship, increased by 22.8% in comparable prices.
According to the agency's analysis, the main driver of overall industrial output growth was growth in the extractive industry. According to the Statistics Agency, production in this sector increased by 1.5 times.
In addition, growth was recorded in the manufacturing industry – by 9.2%, in the electricity supply sector – by 13%, and in the water supply sector – by 15.6%.
The report emphasizes that the overall increase in industrial production for January–October 2025 compared to the same period in 2024 was 12.8%.
Data on the share of individual industrial sectors in total production is also presented. Electricity supply accounts for 18.4%, water supply for 0.6%, and mining for 31.3%. Manufacturing accounts for the largest share of the country's industrial output, accounting for 49.7% of the total.
