Sughd Region Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda received renowned Tajik poetess Gulnoz Tokhiriyon. During the meeting, it was announced that Gulnoz Tokhiriyon had been awarded the prestigious title of "Honorary Doctor of the Organization and Academy for the Protection of Culture and Languages of Spain." The honorary title was awarded to the Tajik poetess at an international summit held in Madrid, Spain. The forum was attended by approximately 100 literary and cultural figures from 37 countries, according to the Sughd Region press service.


Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda warmly congratulated Gulnoz Tokhiriyon on this worthy achievement, emphasizing that such successes are a sign of the global recognition of Tajik culture and literature and testify to the significant contribution of creative individuals to representing the nation and the Tajik language on the international stage.
The conversation also touched on the development of contemporary literature, support for creative artists, and their role in the spiritual development of society. The regional chairman wished Gulnoz Tokhiriyon continued creative success and expressed hope that artists will continue to elevate the reputation of Tajikistan and national literature on the global stage.
