A traffic accident occurred in the Dangara district on December 17, resulting in the death of a truck passenger, law enforcement officials reported.
According to investigators, at approximately 12:30 PM, the driver of a GAZ-53 truck, Shomurod Kholov, born in 1971 and a resident of the Dangara district, was transporting approximately 5 tons of drinking water from the district center to the village of Somondekh when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck fell off a hill and plunged 95 meters down a slope.
A passenger in the truck, the driver's wife, Khosiyat Fayziddinovna Barotova, born in 1975, a local resident, fell out of the cab and died at the scene of the accident.
