Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov took to his Telegram channel to criticize the fact that Russian media actively discussed his prayer at the airport, but paid little attention to the brutal attack at a school in the Odintsovo district of Moscow, which resulted in the death of a child.
"The fact that I prayed at the airport, somewhere in a corner, not bothering anyone, where no one could see, was commented on by so many Telegram channels. But no one commented or condemned the brutal attack at the school and the murder of a child at the school. It's interesting," Nurmagomedov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The incident Nurmagomedov refers to occurred on the morning of December 16 at a school in the village of Gorki-2 in the Odintsovo District of the Moscow Region. According to investigators, a 15-year-old teenager brought a knife and a homemade explosive device into the school. He stabbed a security guard and 10-year-old fourth-grade student, Kobiljon Aliyev, while recording his actions on his phone.
The child died from his injuries. The murder of 10-year-old Kobiljon Aliyev was reportedly motivated by ethnic hatred. His body was returned to Tajikistan and buried in the Shahrinav district.
