Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu held a telephone conversation with Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon, during which the parties discussed the attack by a teenager on the Uspenskaya comprehensive school in Odintsovo, Moscow Region.
According to the press service of the Russian Security Council, during the conversation it was noted that law enforcement agencies are taking the necessary measures to objectively investigate all the circumstances of the incident.
This concerns a tragic incident that occurred on the morning of December 16 at Uspenskaya School in the village of Gorki-2 in the Odintsovo urban district of the Moscow region. According to investigators, a 15-year-old Russian teenager attacked a school security guard with a knife, then attacked 10-year-old student Kobiljon Aliyev, a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan. The child died from his wounds.
The attacker was detained. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened criminal cases on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan called the incident an act of "national hatred" and sent a corresponding note to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tajikistan, Semyon Grigoriev.
