Rahim Saidzoda emphasized that the international education opportunities available to students today are the result of coordinated policies and the ongoing support of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon. The education of Tajik citizens in higher education institutions in the Russian Federation is a clear example of strategic cooperation and the result of the wise policies of the two countries – Tajikistan and Russia. The leaders of the two countries – President Emomali Rahmon of the Republic of Tajikistan and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation – have created a solid foundation for developing human potential and expanding cultural and scientific cooperation. This environment allows students to acquire international-level experience and skills in a sophisticated academic environment.
During the meeting, it was reported that 8,177 Tajik citizens were admitted to higher education institutions in the Russian Federation in the 2024–2025 academic year. A total of 27,490 Tajik students are studying in the Russian Federation, demonstrating the high interest among young Tajik students in studying abroad.

During his meeting with the students, the minister emphasized that their years of study in the Russian Federation should be a period of professional growth, experience, and strengthening friendships. Tajik students should represent their country with dignity abroad and contribute to the country's development as qualified and reliable specialists.
During the meeting, students actively expressed their opinions on the constant support and care of President Emomali Rahmon, discussed the conditions and opportunities for study, and asked questions about various aspects of the educational process.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Education and Science wished the students good health, academic success, and significant achievements, emphasizing that they should graduate with high marks, return to their homeland, and actively participate in the development and prosperity of Tajikistan.
